EQUIPMENT SOURCING
A clearer path to the equipment you need.
You do not need to arrive with a part number. Bring us the process, the requirement, or the equipment challenge. IEC helps determine where we can assist and what information is needed to move forward.
Equipment support beyond process cooling
Alongside our current focus on chillers and cooling towers, IEC assists with broader industrial equipment requirements. The categories on this site are starting points. Tell us what you need to accomplish, and we will review where we can help with equipment selection, sourcing, or purchasing coordination.
New equipment, replacement, or added capacity
A new machine may need supporting equipment. An existing unit may need to be replaced. A production change may introduce different requirements. Each situation starts with understanding the application and defining the equipment scope.
Make the requirements easier to compare
We help clarify operating requirements, physical and electrical constraints, desired features, and timing. That gives equipment discussions a useful starting point and makes it easier to understand what is included in a proposal.
Review fit before making a purchase
Where suitable options are available through IEC, we review the proposed equipment against the known requirements. We discuss the relevant specifications, assumptions, accessories, and exclusions so you can evaluate the purchase with a clearer understanding of the scope.
Coordinate the purchasing details
The proposal is the place to establish the equipment being supplied, pricing, quoted lead time, freight arrangements, payment terms, and any identified exclusions. IEC helps coordinate those details with the customer and equipment supplier.
Supporting OEMs and equipment partners
When your machine or system needs process cooling or other supporting equipment, IEC can handle that defined scope while you continue to lead your customer relationship. We join the conversation with your team, review the application with the end customer when appropriate, and prepare a proposal for our equipment scope. Your rep stays informed through questions, revisions, and order coordination. At the outset, we agree who communicates with the customer, who quotes and invoices, and how you remain involved. A direct IEC equipment quote does not change your broader customer relationship.
What to send
Describe the result you need, the equipment or process involved, the requirements you already know, and your target timing. Existing drawings, model information, and OEM specifications can help. We will confirm whether the need fits IEC’s current offering or sourcing capabilities.
Common questions
Can you source any type of industrial equipment?
Availability depends on the equipment and application. We will discuss whether we can help before proceeding with a recommendation.
Can you provide an alternative to an existing model?
We can review alternatives where available. A different model must be checked against the actual requirements rather than assumed to be an interchangeable replacement.
